Human memory is a complex beast, to put it bluntly. Some memories we cherish for a lifetime and others we wish would simply go away and leave us alone, never to return. Yet our memories are the sum of our life’s experiences.
I am reminded that we all have memories of certain songs, events, people…you name it…which we can revisit at any time, over and over again in our minds eye, so to speak. Well upon perusal of a few of my archived posts, I found myself reliving things I had written over time along with many of the comments from my brilliant readers which followed.

Jim- thanks for these pieces. I particularly enjoyed the phonograph reference. Admittedly, I don't know much about it. So your insight was a refreshing look. I'll be thinking about phonograph for the rest of the week now. :)
